Round up of what we’ve been doing…

Not a lot in short Cool Other than writing, I - well, we - have been sunbathing and hanging out by the pool on days when it’s been to windy to go to the beach.

That said, we went to the beach yesterday not realising that it was extremely blustery down there and the sea was yet again scary with huge crashing waves! Thesse came right up to our little cove so we couldn’t go sit there… despite Mike insisting they wouldn’t go up that far and we’d be fine. They did and we wouldn’t have been Wink

I’ve learned since the whole ‘trapped in a tiny cove’ incident so I refused to sit in our little cove/cave so we didn’t drown…. however, we did watch a fishing trawler that was out at sea through zoom on the camera and I really thought it was going to tip over or sink completely.

It looked as if the sea was going over the deck but the camera gets juddery when it’s on full telephoto so it was hard to tell but needless to say, I recorded it!

It’s a real shame the footage won’t upload with sound - it was quite terrifyingly loud… but there, I”m a bit of a woosie when it comes to big huge waves!

Other than that, I had a great Mother’s Day too! The kids all sent me messages which was lovely and really made my day Laughing The day started out all overcast but it cleared up by about 1pm so we went off down to the pool and we took some piccys… we thought it’d been a while since we’d taken some of us rather than scenery! Today has been quiet… it’s been a tad overcast again and I’ve felt tired today so after having to up early to get my articles done, I’ve just lazed around really! I’ve just tidied up while Mike’s gone into town for a few bits of thing we needed.

Hope all’s well with everyone back home and I’ll speak to soon!
